The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recently held a test for General Duty (GD) Constable positions in multiple dates from February 20 to March 30, 2024. Lots of candidates have given this test which is a computer-based exam. Around 26,146 people will be selected based on their scores on this test and how they perform physically.

SSC GD Cut-Off 2024

In the exam, candidates generally attempted around 35 out of 80 questions. Each correct answer gets 2 marks, but if an answer is wrong, 0.25 marks are deducted.

SSC GD Passing Marks 2024
The SSC GD Constable exam has different passing marks based on categories:
- For General category (UR): Candidates need at least 35% marks to pass.
- For SC/ST/OBC categories: Candidates need at least 30% marks to pass.
- Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): Also need at least 30% marks to pass.
- Ex-servicemen: They need to score at least 35% marks to pass.
The cutoff marks for SSC GD Constable can be between 80 to 130 depending on reservation categories. Candidates who score above these cutoff marks are selected for jobs like BSF, CRPF, CISF, SSB, ITBP, AR, and SSF and have a starting salary of Rs. 21,700, plus allowances and medical benefits based on where they are posted.

SSC GD State Wise Cut Off 2024
The SSC GD Constable exam has different cutoff marks for each state in India. This cutoff mark is the minimum score you need to qualify for a job in that state.
- Uttar Pradesh (UP) has the highest cutoff marks, between 140 and 150.
- Bihar’s cutoff marks are between 135 and 140.
- Delhi’s cutoff is between 130 and 140.
- Rajasthan’s cutoff is from 125 to 138.
- Madhya Pradesh’s cutoff can be 121 to 140.
