Kalki 2898 AD Box Office Collection Day 12: Director Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD, which stars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, saw a sharp decline in its daily box office profits on its second Monday after a successful second weekend in theatres.

Throughout the weekend, the movie brought in ₹ 78.5 crore in domestic net receipts, of which ₹ 44.35 crore came from Sunday alone. However, according to Sacnilk, Kalki 2898 AD suffered a dip of almost 74.41 per cent on Monday, with its nett collection falling to ₹ 11.35 crore.

Kalki 2898 AD State Wise Gross Collection

At the box office, Kalki 2898 AD keeps on raging. not only in North America and other continents. The Prabhas-starring film has also been making a lot of money in Telugu. At the box office, it is doing quite well, earning almost INR 3 Cr in Telugu (on the second Monday).

According to a commercial report in Sacnilk, on Day 12, the Telugu version of Kalki reportedly made 2.65 Cr, while the Tamil version made 0.6 Cr. Karnataka and Kerala made roughly 0.15 Cr and 0.5 Cr. On day 12, the Nag Ash managed to mint about 10 Cr in total. There was a significant decrease in occupancy on Monday compared to the weekend’s massive spike.

Kalki 2898 AD’s revenues are significantly less than those of the top 5 highest-grossing Indian films from their second Monday performances. On its second Monday in 2016, Dangal, the highest-grossing movie in Indian cinema history with a GBOC of ₹ 2,070.3 crore, took in ₹ 13.45 crore.

On their second Mondays, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, RRR, KGF: Chapter 2, and Jawan—which are just slightly higher than Dangal in terms of box office receipts—recorded ₹ 30 crore, ₹ 20.3 crore, ₹ 19.9 crore, and ₹ 19.1 crore, respectively.

At ₹ 6.5 crore on Monday, the Hindi version of Kalki 2898 AD earned more than the Telugu original, which took in ₹ 3.5 crore. The movie brought in ₹ 70 lakh, ₹ 50 lakh, and ₹ 15 lakh to the makers of the Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions, respectively.

On Monday, the Telugu market’s 2D version of the film achieved an overall occupancy percentage of 23.72%. The occupancy rate for morning shows was 16.03 percent; it rose to 22.69% in the afternoon and reached a peak of 29.13% in the evening. On the other hand, night shows decreased, coming in at 27.02%. The overall occupancy rate for the 3D version was 22.11%.
