Importance of Ashadhi Ekadashi
This day is very special because it marks the time when Lord Vishnu goes to Ksheer Sagar (the Milky Ocean) for four months. This period is called Chaturmaas. During this time, Lord Vishnu is said to go into a deep sleep known as Yog Nidra.
