The Bollywood action movie Kill, which starred Lakshya and Raghav Juyal, was reportedly made on an approximate budget of 20Cr. However, the film has not yet made enough money to recover its production expenses.

Although the action thriller had a slow start, it managed to make over $10 million in its first week of release. After all is said and done, Kill can be classified as a “moderate success.”

Kill, which was directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, debuted to favourable reviews from both reviewers and viewers. Even so, on September 7, 2023, it made its debut at Midnight Madness of the Toronto International Film Festival.

Additionally, it was shown at the Tribeca Film Festival. Inspired by the violent action and compelling plot of the original, John Wick series producers Lionsgate and 87Eleven Entertainment said they will be remaking the Indian thriller.

The remake will be directed by 87Eleven Entertainment’s Chad Stahelski, Jason Spitz, and Alex Young, according to a report from Deadline. “Nikhil delivers relentless action sequences that need to be seen by as wide an audience as possible,” Stahelski said. “It’s exciting to be developing an English-language version–we have big shoes to fill.”

Tanya Maniktala, Harsh Chhaya, and Ashish Vidyarthi are also featured in Kill. It has heart-pounding action set against the suspenseful backdrop of a train ride. The plot centres on army commando Amrit (played by Lakshya), who is on a perilous journey to rescue his lady love Tulika (played by Tanya Maniktala) from Raghav Juyal’s Fani. The operation is aboard a train headed for New Delhi.
